A few things and rules about email marketing will never change: it has always been about building trust and credibility, when you’re pre-selling and when you’re not. Always keep your email offers relevant – the email message consistent with the subject line. I personally know of some dodgy email marketers who will do anything to get desperate attention of their subscribers, and even risk having their reputation smeared that way. The good news is, you don’t have to resort to desperate tactics like that.
